What happens if it rains?
Tours operate rain or shine, so be sure to dress for the weather. Our trolleys are covered to keep you comfortable.
Can children join the tour?
Yes, everyone is welcome. However, please consider whether your child(ren) will become restless during the 75-minute tour.
Is food or drink allowed on the trolley?
Small snacks and water bottles are allowed, but we kindly ask that you avoid bringing larger meals or messy items.
Where does the tour start and end?
The Downtown Tour departs from the Fredericksburg Visitor Center at 601 Caroline Street. You’ll return to the same spot, making it easy to plan your day around the tour.
Is parking available near the starting point?
Yes. Street parking is free but has time limits. There is a parking garage directly behind the Fredericksburg Visitor Center. Additional public parking lots are marked on the map
Can I bring a stroller?
Strollers are welcome but must be collapsible for easy storage on the trolley. Larger strollers can be stored inside the visitor center.
Is the tour narrated?
